The Last Year of My 20's

I blogged about Christmas and skipped right over a very important milestone in my life. My 29th Birthday. I know you are thinking...29...how is that a milestone? It is a milestone to me because this is the last year of my 20's. I've been a wife since I was 21 and a mother since I was 23 so it's not like I'm looking to my last year of my 20's to grasp at the glory days...I had very few glory days. I simply am taking this year to enjoy being young. I'm going to soak up every minute. Then...on December 20, 2011 (I've already scheduled the day off) I will lie in bed watching movies like...Julia & Julie with a bottle of wine and a box of tissues. BRING IT ON!

But...back to my birthday...this year. Eric took me out on a date. The plan was to go out with friends but my very good friend Kristy got a stomach virus and couldn't come...bummer. I missed her.  Anyway...we went to Saul Good and I had the chicken waffles. OMG they were scrumptious...I never thought I'd say that....honestly. I love trying new food I find that tasting new things is always amazing...even if it isn't to my liking...Julia Child made it seem ok to LOVE food...my muffin top would argue otherwise!

 Eric took me to Best Buy beforehand to pick up my Birthday Present which was the new EVO phone. Which I love. Pictures and videos will be brought to FOR CRYING IN THE MUD via my new EVO.  We went to see TRON...I fell asleep just for a few minutes but it was good. Just spending the evening with my wonderful husband made my 29th Birthday so special. ***Yes he is WONDERFUL***
